Therapy for Expats
Offering compassionate, native English-speaking therapy designed for internationals – in Munich and online.
Benefit from personalized support rooted in genuine understanding and personal experience.
You’re not lost. You’re inbetween.
Online and in-person support for navigating life abroad.
I’m Kat, a licensed therapist (HeilprG) offering therapy in native-level English for expats and immigrants in Munich and online.
My path here began when I first moved from the U.S. to Germany at 14, overwhelmed and forced to adapt without much support. That experience shaped me deeply. Since then, I’ve moved between the two countries twice more – before university and again at the start of my career. Each move challenged my sense of identity and stability in new ways.
I understand what it’s like to struggle with disconnection and self-doubt after choosing a new path. I also know how meaningful it can be to talk to someone who gets it.
In our sessions together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s weighing you down, and what’s possible. Whether you’re facing anxiety, a major life change, or just feeling stuck, therapy can offer a space to breathe and grow.

Supporting expats and immigrants through challenges abroad.
Native English-speaking therapist in Munich
Therapy with a native English speaker ensures that nothing gets lost in translation, so you can fully express complex emotions, process difficult experiences, and be yourself without having to search for the right words or explain the unspoken.
Counseling for anxiety & depression
Living abroad can intensify anxiety and depression, and facing these challenges without your usual support can feel overwhelming. You’re not overreacting, and you’re not alone. We can explore what’s beneath the surface and build tools for relief and resilience.
Evidence-based methodology
I combine radical empathy with thoroughly researched methods (CBT/ACT/SFBT) that have a solid track record, creating an approach that honors both the scientific foundation of therapy and the human need to be deeply seen and understood. Because meaningful growth arises at the intersection of knowledge and compassion.
